Central Public Schools and our Community Education Program were excited to be able to host a Magnifying Abilities class called Cards, Games and Conversation last week! Magnifying Abilities is a social/recreational program for persons 16 and older with intellectual and physical disabilities. The program is designed to enhance community involvement and lifelong learning of people with disabilities. There were a lot of smiles and fun!

Yesterday we received a very generous donation of girl scout cookies for the Raider Room. Thank you Girl Scouts for your dedication and all of the volunteer work you do in our community!

Central Public Schools ECFE programming provides amazing opportunities for our youngest learners and their families. Check out what a parent had to say:
"ECFE is a place where my kids and I can grow closer together while participating in a variety of activities where they can have fun while they learn. I have valued the parent time because it comes from research and it helps me become a better parent. ECFE is a wonderful place to connect and grow with your child!"

This week, we're thrilled to showcase the incredible talents of our High School Draw, Paint, Print class.
High school students were tasked with exploring the concept of radial symmetry through the lens of observational drawing, with shoes as their focal point.
Guided by the principles of balance and harmony, students meticulously examined the intricate details of various shoe designs, from the sleek curves of sneakers to the different trending styles of boots.
With pencils in hand and keen eyes, they embarked on a journey of discovery, seeking out symmetrical elements within each shoe's structure. Students free-handed in their background designs to emphasize the shoes and show more application of radial symmetry!
Congratulations to:
Ayla Fox
Ella Harms
Tate Schneider
Haley Neubarth
