Winter hours for the Raider Field House will begin on Monday, Dec. 2! Additional modifications to the schedule will be posted when necessary. Winter Hours: -Monday-Friday 5:30 - 7:30 a.m. and 6-9 p.m. -Saturday 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. -Sunday 12 - 5 p.m.

Central Public Schools has a strong entry in the NYA Chamber's window decorating contest this year thanks to Braelyn, Katelyn, Lily , Ava, and Grace. Judging takes place tomorrow so with them luck!

We love seeing students in kindergarten focused on learning and excited about school!

The preschool students are learning about measurement this week and had a special guest reader yesterday, Mr.Schrupp! Mr. Schrupp read the students a book about a giant teddy bear and then measured how tall Mr. Schrupp is compared to some of our preschool friends. Some might say Mr. Schrupp is a giant compared to some of the students! The height differences are displayed in the Preschool wing hallway at the Elementary School.

Mr. Hunt and Mrs. Hammers' Raidertimes participated in the 2 Be Continued Program over the last eight weeks. 2 Be Continued's mission is to increase awareness of suicide prevention, mental health & wellness through advocacy, education, and outreach. All 43 10th graders received their certification and are prepared to make a difference in the culture at Central. Kindergarten students learned all about the election process and even got to vote!

Students in third grade have been learning about classifying animals in reading and multiplication in math. Kids had fun creating the blueprint for a zoo with animals of their choice! Designs needed to maximize the space for animals of varying sizes and they calculated the area of different animals' exhibits. We love seeing cool learning activities!
