GREAT things are happening with the Central Music Department. Between Choir and Band concerts, contests and trips, Central Music students are busier than ever.
- Choir Contest
The 2022 High School Choir Contest was held Wednesday Febreary 23, 2022 at Sibley East High school.
There were six (6) schools present at contest; including TCU, Belle Plaine, Le Seuer, Jordan, Sibley East and of course Central.
Central recieved an Overall Excellent Rating

- Band Contest
The 2022 High School Band Contest was held on March 2, 2022 at LeSeuer High School. There were six (6) schools present at contest; including TCU, Belle Plaine, Le Seuer, Jordan, Sibley East and of course Central.
Central recieved an Overall Superior Rating.
The band performed "Creed" by William Himes and "Arirang" arranged by Roland Smeets.

- Honor Band Trip:
Central High School students attended the 72nd annual Dorian Band Festival at Luther College in Decorah IA. In the Sperati Band: Nick Vinkemeier and Anna Meeker. In the Noble Band: Mikayla Tellers, Nick Christianson, Brodie Guentzel and Liz Lenzen. Congrats on this high achievement!
