Attached you will see the "1 pager" developed to assist in communicating Central
Public Schools four strategic directions:
● Attracting and developing quality staff
● Excelling in facilities and resource management
● Innovating toward a destination district
● Expanding opportunities for improved achievement

Each of these four strategic directions has a plan of action developed by the team with
measures for success.

Our district is going to get started on this work today...day 2. Central Public Schools is
putting out a public call for community members, business owners, staff, parents,
senior citizens, and students to partner with the school board to join a "facilities task
force" which will engage community members to develop a master facilities plan that
supports our Districtwide needs. This is information and feedback the school board will
use to guide their decisions.

The district is looking to have about 100 citizens on the taskforce. We will be meeting
Sunday evenings from 6pm to 8pm on June 27, July 11, and July 18. The meetings will
be at Central High School and further information will follow once the members have
been identified. If you are interested in joining the taskforce, please email or call Tim
Schochenmaier, Superintendent, at tschochenmaier@isd108.org or 952.467.7000.

In Partnership,
Tim Schochenmaier
