Welcome back Raider Nation!

As the sun sets on yet another summer, I would like to welcome all of you back to campus for what is sure to be another successful year here at Central. The sights and sounds of a new academic year (and construction) are all around us and I am excited to welcome everyone to our new facilities at Central in 2023-24. In fact, things are well underway at Central as we have been hosting summer practices, camps, weight lifting programs, and our fall sports season is not far away.
Since I took over the activities directors role last December, it has been a whirlwind of activity. We have ushered in a new era with the hires of three new head coaches for the 23-24 season as well as starting the process of joining a new conference as the MRC, after 50 plus years of existence, has dissolved.
Last season, we celebrated MRC Conference titles, had numerous all-conference and all-section selections, honored conference coaches of the year, and celebrated deep runs into the postseason and even into the State Tournament by our Raiders in many sports and activities. This year, in the final year of MRC play, we expect big things from all of our programs.

We are committed to out-working our competition and doing things the "right way" in order to be successful. Not only are we coaches, administrators, and staff members, but we are also educators. While we strive to be successful on the field, we are preparing our young men and women for their years beyond the playing fields. Athletics provides our athletes and participants with life long lessons of preparation, teamwork, and dedication. These are traits that will serve everyone throughout their life no matter their career path.

We have tremendous student-athletes in all of our sports, all striving to become greater on and off the field. I invite everyone to join us in celebrating our student-athletes throughout the year and join us at one of our athletic events. While you're at it, bring a friend… or three. We'll see you in the stands.
Go Raiders!
