MSHSL and Central Schools

Fall Sports Update:

High School:

At a special meeting yesterday, the Minnesota State High School League Board of Directors voted to move forward with competitive seasons for football and volleyball for the fall of 2020.  The information below is subject to change and we will notify families as necessary.  Here are the details for each high school activity as approved by the MSHSL:

  •  Football Practices will begin on September 28 
  • Games will begin on October 9
  • The season will consist of six regular-season games
  • Postseason competition is yet to be determined
  • Attendance will be strictly limited to 250 fans
  • Varsity games will be live-streamed - links will be provided when available


  • Volleyball Practices will begin on September 28
  • Games will begin on October 8
  • The season will consist of a maximum of 14 regular-season games
  • Postseason competition is yet to be determined
  • No fan attendance at volleyball games will be allowed
  • B Squad and Varsity games will be live-streamed - links will be provided when available

The online registration portal below is open now. Payment and registration online are due Friday, September 25th.  If a student is currently in Cross Country or Soccer there is no fee to participate in Volleyball or Football.  Students can still participate in both fall activities.  Coaches will work to be flexible with student-athletes.
